preview-artek-big.jpgAfter the big fight in the Doppler management and the resulting strike of the staff in summer, Alain Guérin, chief purchaser and the one behind Doppler’s product range, left the company together with some other executives in order to launch the new brand „ARTEK“ … <!–more–>

It is therefore not surprising that many of ARTEK’s products are indentical with their Doppler counterparts. The design has however been changed to distance oneself. Crankshafts are also manufactured by Portuguese company Jasil/TopRacing; they are abrasive-blasted for matt finish and come with oval red in stead of round blue inserts. The inner rotor ignition  is manufactured by MVT, the exhaust systems are identical with the S3R, the air shock absorber looks only slightly different from the Doppler version and the adjustable boost bottle somehow also looks familiar … Due to the strict laws in France, ARTEK won’t be likely to offer any 70cc cylinders either. Although ARTEK’s product range for now is limited to products that already exist in a very similar form from Doppler, you can be sure that Alain Guérin will come out with quite a few ideas for his brand. We will keep you informed!
