From now on, you can register to exhibit your scoot at the international scooter customshow! The registration period ends on 4 April 2010 and the show will then take place in the E-Werk in Saarbrücken on 17 April. More information and the registration form are available at the Website of the International Scooter-Customshow 2010!

You can choose the colour of the scooter that we are modifying for the “Made in China” series in the print mag. We have designed three looks and you simply choose the one you like best. We will later on enhance the design using stickers … but the basic design will be the one you are choosing here. You have the chance to cast your vote until 21 February!

French tuning parts manufacturer MVT will soon offer a new premium internal rotor ignition for high-end engines. It has been released for up to 22,000 RPM and is the only internal rotor ignition to offer a connection for electric water pumps with up to 12V/60W. As usual for MVT, this ignition also has a digital ignition curve.

In 2004, Japanese scooter-tuning magazine Scooter-Champ published a series of pictures showing a crash experiment with a CVT. After having removed the stops, they hid behind a wooden board and revved up the engine, waiting for the clutch bell to give up and blow off together with the variator cover. Scooter-Attack have liked this so much that they have tried to get the video ever since. Now, 6 years after, they have finally succeeded: Scooter-Champ have handed over the video to Scooter-Attack! French optic parts manufacturer BCD has presented the first new parts for 2010! For MBK Booster and Yamaha BWs since 2004, there are now handlebar clamps and downhill handlebars available in white/black or chrome coated, also brake levers in the New Style with sporty/aggressive style. Furthermore there are new F1 PRO mirrors to be had, which come in a rather rounded-off and dynamic appearance. Of course we can also show you some pictures of the new parts:

Hello Tuning Community!

We thought we should introduce you to Mati. He and his father travel from one event to the next, and they don’t even shy away from driving as far as Milan. In time, the two of them have collected quite a few TTHs and now also Mad Heads. And now they have sent us this pic! Hats off to Mati and his dad! All that is missing is the big golden TTH … who will be on his way shortly! :)

The second category Best Customwork is perfect for all tuners, giving you the chance to present a scoot like you would normally do it on a customshow! Show us what beautiful gem you have hidden in your garage and tell us what’s special about your scooter.

Application:
What’s important for your application is this:
1. Pictures of your scoot! (pictures in a very good quality that show the scoot and all important details (so please no pics taken with your mobile phone!)
2. Your name, address, e-mail address, (mobile) phone number
3. A bit of information about your scoot (what has inspired you, for how long have you had your scoot, registrations, how much money have you invested and why should you win)
4. ALL applications should be sent to tuningchallenge@streetbuzz.net.

Evaluation:
The best thing is that you as the readers are the ones to decide who wins! We make a pre-selection of the 10 best conversions, which will then be presented in the next Streetbuzz issue. And then we will count your votes. You can cast your vote here on our website.

And what will I get?
As in all competitions, you can of course win something. The winner of the Streetbuzz Tuning Challenge will receive a Streetbuzz DVD package, a limited Streetbuzz hoodie and will of course be presented in the magazine as the winner. Places 2 and 3 will also be featured in the magazine.

Every challenge means a new and different category, so if one isn’t the appropriate one for your scoot, simply wait for the next challenge. And of course, you can enter your scoot already now for your destined category – simply write us where you think your scooter belongs!
